Timothy Jack aka “TIMBOT” is an artist/filmmaker raised in the Flatbush region of Brooklyn, NY, striving to make all his childhood dreams of becoming artist/filmmaker. Timothy Jack Predominantly self taught, began drawing at age of 5, his love of cartoons, graphic novels, and science fiction became his motivators for developing his skills. Timothy continued to develop his talent on his own, not having any formal art school training, until going to college when he enrolled in Pratt Institute in 2001. There, he studied graphic design and 2-D animation. On his free time, he also took it upon himself to learn filmmaking, special effects and music production. After school he went on to work for various studios, also freelance. Deciding the best way to express his dreams and creativity is through ownership of his own studio. in 2009 Terrain- X Studios was Started, looking for a new challenges that will foster his talents and abilities. Since then Timothy Jack went on to do special effects for big name artist and projects such as “36 mafia’s” shake my” music video, visual effects director on Bone Thugs and Harmony “Meet me in the sky” music video, and was visual effect coordinator for the NBC “Kings” Pilot episode. Timothy Jack is on the path to success.
Now “TIMBOT” he still does freelancing for other studios both mainstream and independent, doing videography, conceptual designs, storyboards, photography, motion graphics and special effects.
